This was my original intent as well, but in July 2006 I knew that using the f.lat i.ron had been hard on my hair during my transition, and I decided to see if I could go a month without using any h.eat. Then I extended it to August. Then to December. Now I'm coming up on nearly 1 year of not using any h.eat on my hair.
